Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery

The University of Chicago Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery fellowship offers an excellent opportunity for graduates of residencies in obstetrics and gynecology and urology who are interested in pursuing a career in urogynecology. This 3-year ACGME-accredited "fellow-centered" fellowship program in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery has both a national and international focus with fellows presenting abstracts at numerous national and international meetings including the ICS, IUGA, AUGS, SGS, SOFU, ACOG, AAGL and AUA. The fellows receive outstanding clinical, surgical, and academic education. The Section of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery works closely with the Colorectal Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Pelvic Pain, Urology, and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy in educating the fellows as part of our comprehensive Center for Pelvic Health. Fellows act as primary surgeons, primary investigators, and first authors on the majority of all activities in the Section.
